Transition year

Our Transition Year programme is offered on an optional basis but currently achieves over 90% uptake amongst our student body. It is a unique school-based one year programme designed to facilitate the smooth transition from the dependent learning of the Junior Cycle to the more independent, self-directed learning environment of the Senior Cycle. It offers students the opportunity to explore a range of extra-curricular activities, life skills and work experience, helping them to develop personally and gain practical insights into potential career paths.
